What Is an Enchantment Book?

The Enchantment Book is a metallic book item dropped by ancient devices like the Enchanted Book found in the Festival or Warped Forest biomes, or spirit infernal strongholds. Once acquired, it lets you apply enchantments to your gear by visiting the Enchantment Table within the Enchantment Maker. Unlike the more complex enchantment table in survival worlds, the Enchantment Book offers a streamlined way to enchant a limited number of items quickly—perfect for quick leveling or equipping magical tools.

Step 1: Acquire an Enchantment Book

You can obtain an Enchantment Book from designated structures:

• Spirit Infernal Strongholds: Explore the Nether and rescue spirits to find Book of Enchantments.
  
• Festival Ruins: Loot enchantment books in occasionally spawning chests.
  
• Legends & Command Blocks (Advanced): Rarely available in modded or custom servers.

Once obtained, right-click a Spirit Infernal stronghold to acquire the book.

Step 2: Access the Enchantment Table

• Locate where the Enchantment Book is located.
  
• The Enchantment Table appears nearby, usually adjacent to the book.
  
• Equip your inventory slot for the Enchantment Book—press E to install or open it in your hand.
